East to West Route 66 Motorcycle Tour 2016

Despite the fact the original Route 66 no longer exists in its complete form there are some intrepid people that still want to travel Route 66 as authentically as possible. Hence Perry, Drew and Mario, three former Canadian Sailors and motorcycle enthusiasts have decided to take the month of June 2016 and ride our bikes from West to East, from Santa Monica Pier to Chicago - Jackson at Lakeshore. From Chicago we will ride our bikes back home to Ottawa Canada and then have more 'Salty Dips' to our friends and family with for years to come.

To plan, ride and explore our tour we are using the EZ66 Guid for Travelers, 3rd Edition, by Jerry McClanahan as well as the Google Maps found on Driving Route 66 which conforms to the book but has many side trips marked some from the book but others as well.
